Yes. This scene looks like the 1970s to me. A shit-heap of a decade in many ways, but nothing looks too bad from inside a strong young body.

I had a bit of a twiddle with Wednesday’s image and made it look like an old black and white print. Of course the cars give the game away – there’s nothing vintage about them!
The old sodium street lights of my town are being replaced with white LED lamps, so the orange glow of suburban nights passes into history.
One moment the sun was shining, the next it was pouring with rain. Luckily I was able to take shelter under a tree.
