Photoblogging is a way of expressing my creativity within the limitations imposed by energy-sapping chronic illness. After exploring many options I concluded that digital photography using a point-and-shoot camera is the best medium for me.

All I need to create an image when I’m out and about is a camera in my pocket, an eye for opportunity and few moments. When my energy levels are low it requires little effort to edit and tweak my pictures on the computer – no set up time, no clearing up afterwards and I can even do it in bed!

My current camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ8 that I’ve had for over five years. I also occasionally use an iPhone 5. I use either Photos or Picasa on a MacBook Pro for editing.

All the reasons that I ADORE my iPhone 🙂 don’t need the PC for anything then, so I can (and do) create in bed. Which is where I seem to be most if the time 😉
Thanks for the Christmas postcard – it’s ACE 🙂
